Taunton Retirement Board welcomes two new members

The two newest members to join the retirement board are Patrick D. DelloRusso, Jr. who was appointed by mayor Shaunna O'Connell on 12/18/2025. Mr. DelloRusso is the City of Taunton's Chief Finance Officer and serves as the mayoral appointee.

Bernier Re-elected to the Taunton Retirement Board

A notice-of-election for the Taunton Retirement Board was mailed to all members in July 2025. Nomination papers were due by 12 noon on August 29, 2025. As of that deadline, the only nomination paper received was for incumbent board member Thomas A. Bernier.

The Taunton Retirement Board has approved a 3% COLA effective July 1, 2025 for all eligible retirees and survivors of the system who retired on or before June 30, 2024.
